From Fed Topper to Master Chef
The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

Ok you motley crew, I'm back from my week away and I'll be spending the next couple of hours looking at what you lot have been up to, hope all has been good , a quick glance at the results and I see Ray is still doing the business with his birds, well done Ray, ok I'm off to do some reading.

hi lofty, good to see you back.......hope you had a good time, yes our ray has been doing well again, plus some of our other members have been having sleepless nights with hold overs, some 9 days in the basket...... affraid

Thanks David, we were lucky with the weather, me and the Mrs were walking on the beach in the sun and my daughter phoned to say Swansea were having thunder storms and flash flooding, and we were only in Newquay west wales about 60 miles away.

Just read through the mnfc thread, that's absolutely nuts keeping the birds for 9 days, what's next you wonder, a 2 week trip to France for the birds eh, and I for one would never trust the rspca to inspect my pigeons, they know naff all about birds, makes me think about sending across the water with my club

yes it was a long time lofty, edgie said his birds wernt in that bad condition on arrival home, but said they were stiff with swollen wing joints the day after...ive read on the internet many others had this too from the same race, but hopefully with rest and some warm baths they will make a full recovery.........
