john broke his novice status today in his first ever race from Cwmbran 87 miles in the searing heat...well done john and well done that bird in what proved to be a very hard race ....way to go john a winner in yer first race 198 birds sent...great start to racing for ya john well done

Fair play to darren though David he has give me loads of tips and helped me though all the diffrent stages. Even before i bread them the ybs. Not sure if i would have done it without darren help. My 3rd bird home was off a pair darren give me aswell. So thanks mate you helped me out a lot

Your right about Darren John, he's one of the good guys, if all fanciers were like him things would be a lot better, I've had no end of help from him along with some super stock birds

Way to go John No more joy could I have etc than seeing a newcomer over the moon with his first result/race as such "Just terrific" & take no notice of those types that may suggest it's all down hill now after winning your first race .
