Sir Rene Archer wins 1st & 2nd club.
Rene Archer wins 1st and 2nd from Messac 118 miles on the 02/06/12 with a 2year old Jan Aarden which was lightly raced as a yearling...... Rene also took 1st on the 19/05/12 from Carentan 62 miles with a Barker, his daughters were also 2nd in the same race where they were the only birds home on the day.....Well done to Rene and his daughters.

From Fed Topper to Master Chef
The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

its not mate I do have others, but have also blended some with the van hee, they pretty much all tow the line here , or they are gone ? Basketball cheers

grand old pigeons the van hees my grandfather had some they were his best birds he also had the grooters which also did well on occasions but the van hees were better he had motta lines I got a old catalogue here somewhere from Louella selling the van hees when he first got um atb with um

these are the old motta line redds and mealies mainly a few blue and cheques loads of black splashes on the reds and mealies,they win at all distances easy or hard,they are a good all round and honest pigeon, hard to get now, look on the Scottish national results 2015 colin crees has a direct son of my vindicator which went on to breed the Scottish national winner there is a photo of the bird a red chequer cock. cheers

nice to get feedback like that eh my grandfather had a red cheq hen she was only bird on the day from lambelle in his club which had over 50 members in the hey day their was a storm in the channel I will never forget it when she crumpled in a soaked heap on the loft she gave her all but she never bred a carrot lol! she lived out her days in the stock section though ...brave little hen hardy pigeons them van hees

we had some van hees in the 80`s from louella....they were big pigeons, dark bronze chequers.....nice birds but cant remember if they did much.
