post new topics

come on lets start thinking of new topics, were all guilty posting on topics, theres good clever members here lets get together and post some interest instead of answering to topics all the time, example Don is an ex boxer topics about boxing can be posted in non pigeon board, David likes blonde females another none pigeon board, ray David will have to do a cold storage board for fridges ken and mark are doing great things for forum, lets get together and all add something

Steve u do a good job ur self on here, but i will say what i have noticed, there is a lot of topics within a topic, where we start off on one but add different topics within it as we go along, moving away from the original post, now to give each topic itd own space to run it wouid be better to open a new post rather than add on to the one already open im as guilty as that then the next man or lady, hope yopu understand what i mean

hi ken, yes i know what your saying......the big sites always have the mods coming into the discussion and tell members to keep to topic or move it to its own new topic. im afraid this is partly my fault for letting the site run its self basically and not moving the offending replies.......but to be honest if i did do all this it would take up too much of my time and id not have time to get involved with replying myself.......

yes david it would take up a lot of time, we can make it easier by posting in the right topics or starting new ones, or just appoint a couple more moderators to help out, you have one in ian, why not ask another to help Im sure Steve, Don or Ray or anyone else would fill the posistion

if you notice ken it happens nearly every time in any topic, we start off talking about darkness....then within a few replies it changes towhat type of corn we use, and then on to yb sickness...... it never really bothered me but if you think about it the discussions would be better and more varied if they were managed correctly wouldnt they......

Yes i would agree, it opens it up for a better debate discussion without the post getting lost in a mismatch of post

yes you are right ken, i think steve has brought this to our attention really to do something about it maybe..........what we do need tho is instead of the same members giving their views , for maybe other members who wouldnt normally get involved too much to give thir views on the subject....

also got wrong for tidying post up when people were posting 3 and four time in the same minute just to get there post count up and this was getting you away from original topic

ian, i beg to differ why you were "wronged"............but to get back to the original point that steve and ken were making was that a topic starts off as one thing and changes maybe 3, 4 or even 5 times as the replies are posted.........what we are saying is maybe if members posted a new topic instead of changing one half way through.

this was my point before as i recollect was just talking about this earlier today when i mentioned this so david i beg to differ
