Sometimes it worth it yes but most of the time know..I know ybs do mistakes which is fair enough but in my experience I have only ever had the odd one going on to do anything the next year...I know a few have had birds back weeks later and think these birds have done well to come home but most of the time they come home as they have had a fright or so...anyway I drifted a bit there lol but just giving my opinion on both late or list birds

i think there can be different reason a bird comes home in a box...but one thing that troubles me is that some fanciers don't want the bird back, and try palm it off on the finder to save them having to pay 40 quid to get it back.....what makes them think someone else wants to keep their crap...?

I once had a yb reported a couple of years ago, it was up near ray somewhere, Newcastle area.....bloke brought me it and said give me a tenner for fuel because he was coming to leeds anyway, just shows there are still some decent pigeon men around eh.
