| What a long way pigeon clocks have came remember using 10 bird toulette with paper dials like tatagraph. to then move to wind up stb then quartz stb.then onto t3 and now I think the best of all the ets system no time loss pigeons not clock shy . What clocks you got lying about I have a sky master ghost also a 10 bird toulet . One of my friends rod Adams has a fantastic collection of pigeon clocks going back decades how things move on

| first clock I got was a 10 bird toulet, in a wooden box....didn't last long before it wanted repair so my brother bought a new stb quartz which was the latest thing at the time....when I restarted again a few years ago ken/friendslofts very kindly loaned me a spare t3 which he said I could use as long as I needed it as he had a spare and ets.......our club now have a bricon speedy ets for every member to use, I`ve not raced this season but I`m thinking of staying with the t3 and not bothering with the ets. at the moment ive 2 stb quartz, one of which is the one we bought in the 1980`s and I use it as a clock to tell the time... |

| Do you think we have moved on for the better or has the cost of ets forced decline in sport or is it just whole cost in genral |

| You have to move with the times or get left behind . Best thing that came in to the sport in my oppinion . I will not go back to a clock with rubbers . Yes they are expensive I bought my own and well worth it . The cost comes down to the member now and not the club I.e. clock books rubbers entry sheets ext . |

| ets rings are more expensive than rubbers, loose 20 ybs with ets rings on and you've probably lost around £30 in ets rings....... |

| True but the cost remains with the fancier not the club . And rubbers are not easy to come by |

| Started with a skymaster, then onto a stb wind up type, now our club use the t3s, but we may be going ets in the near future, I would like to think ets is better but some say it's more trouble than it's worth |

| I hope we get ets Ian, I quite fancy the idea, especially as my hands are getting worse and if my son in law is working it will be hard going to try and catch birds up to clock them |

that's one good thing about ets, not having to scare them every week chasing them around the loft on arrival from the race. |

| No one in our club has one or has used one, so , if we do get ets there's going to be some fun at our club |

They can't deny you the reason for ets originally was for disabled people who can't catch them easily and take rubbers off |

| Ets is brilliant no need to catch them to clock in and if you can not be there on race day you can still clock just set it up. When we first started we had a toulet it clocked some good pigeons in and a lot of winners |

| the only reason that some pigeon men don't want E.T.S. is that they don't want to buy one , but if they can get a grant they stick there hands up , scroungers which ever way you look at it |
