who would be a driver convoyer , if they could

no I wouldn't edgie, a lot of responsibility involved I think, if its a crap race you get the blame, plus I don't like driving.......

yes david it is allot of responsibility ,and I have seen it many times where they just let the birds go , because the race controller says so , not me if I don't think its right , then I talk to the race controller and explain the problem ,at the end of the day the convoyer has the last say ,and I always take a video of the area and liberation to cover my back side you need them birds back on the wagon next week or your out of a job

I think sometimes its a hard call, you cant win either way..........theres times it looks perfect weather and 10 mins after liberation its terrible weather, or theres other times a good gap is missed.

It's not just that I think technology has a lot to do with it..one time the birds just went on a Friday , now they get forecasts then take it from there..We are too soft nowadays ,frightened of a bit cloud cover ect

what I don't like is sunday racing because the weather has not been good on Saturday , at least there is some notice of where some feds are and what time they intend to lib , but sunday everybody wants up early to beat everybody else , there is no coordination , only cock ups
