2day i r mostly been making Chelsea Buns

On tonight's menu Chelse10

No recipe needed - just bung a load of Strong White flour in a bowl, add a bit of sugar and some yeast - and MIX, then knead for a bit.

Make up a sugar and cinnamon mix - after letting the dough double in size (around 1 hour), roll out into a big rectangle, smother top side with butter and sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mix all over.

Roll up into a big sausage and cut into 1 inch slices - lay them on a greased tin, let them rise again for 30-60 minutes, and bake at 200 degrees C (mark 6 gas) for 20 mins, then check if fully cooked, if not give them 5 mins more and check again.

When they are cooked, take them out of the baking tray immediately and set them on a cooling rack.

ENJOY - they are 'Yummy'

Phil

As I have said before - you would all be most welcome - depending on the numbers - we have room for 3 in our camper and maybe another in our caravan (now used as a storage area for pigeon stuff) also there is PLENTY of room for camping.

Does anyone fancy taking on the job of organising it?

Phil

'Carry on' - carry on plop!

I can't stand them.  Comedy at it's worst as far as I am concerned.

Sorry - just my opinion.
