| I know its a little early yet but when pairing up birds , what do you use as a guide ? , best to best - pedigree to pedigree - strain to strain -type to type -distance to distance - sprinter to sprinter eye to eye , or some other method ? or do you like to experiment ? |

| best to best of what I got but will be getting most of my ybs in this year it was almost a new start for us last year to be honest steve I have not really had the time for pigeons since Alfie was born but that changes now he is at school so hopefully this year I will be back in the game properly |

| personally I think best to best is the way to go....and obviously keep short distance birds together and long together. |

Why all the different things why not just do what the Belgium's do and pair best to best all on racing ability BUT I KNOW NOTHING |

| All those that said 'Best to Best' are right in my book.
However, what about young birds of this year that have NOT had time to show themselves? Do you breed from them or not?

| its not ideal is it phil but if you have room then trying a few that take yer fancy cant do any harm |

| I do not breed from my race team , in fact they don't pair till channel racing starts |
