if a bird returned after missing all winter what would you do with it ,keep it to try again , or destroy it , me it would be in the bin, as for me it has only come back for a mate and to breed ?, probably another malingerer ., cheers

depends what the bird had done and if I needed a cock or hen to make numbers up for widowers as you say they usually don't amount to much but I suppose theirs always the exception

Would agree Boss but there is one thing you need to consider is the pigeon a youngster ?????

If yes then I would give the youngster another chance but only one chance scratch scratch scratch
