Has anyone noticed that after your pigeons have been fed, your best birds go to the drinker first and up to their perch first.
Question

And your long distance birds always take the top perches and nest boxes

I noticed it when I used to race years ago and it's happening again now.
I've asked other members in my club and they have the same thing in their loft.
The greedy ones that are always wolfing it down always seem to be useless racers.
Have a good look next time, you will be surprised.

I always presumed the first to the drinker was those who had eaten enough food, but its an interesting observation and I`ll certainly keep an eye on them to see...
