| what do members do regards any treatments we do noting apart from vaccinate but they are put on natural supplements ...usually canker them after couple of training tosses early july and that's it until racing commences where things get played as they go along , before racing ybs need to build immunity so its deep litter and no medications for us |

| Ween our young birds on a clean floor with a dusting of loft white and electrolytes in the water for the first couple of days feeding just once a day with a good all round mix |

Steve. Local mix "Cheap" with extra peas added & chicken pellets, for the first 10/14 days etc & I always keep a close watch on those that may have trouble finding the water trough here, which always has Colloidal silver in it. ***** |

| I also use a few chicken 'rearing' pellets during the breeding season and for the young birds at weaning and all through the first 3 months of their life.
I use V-L Breed and Wean for the breeders and the weaned y/b's. They stay on that until they start training hard, then racing, when I think that need a little more protein and carbo'.
I don't know anything about Colloidal silver - so I will look into that. If I wanted some, where can I get some?
