| best bet chris if its getting damp it will only cause health issues deep litter and open front lofts don't work to well together too much moisture atb |

| yes ive noticed dampness using easibed, I pick droppings up and rake over alternate days but I find under the perches where most of the droppings are tend to get damp if left for more than a couple of days.....I presume pigeons do no piss, only do droppings which have a certain degree of moisture in them which seeps into the bedding and makes a damp patch if left.
when I rake over I sprinkle a hand full of white floor dressing under the perches to try minimise any dampness, I also add a bucket of fresh bedding to each section once a week. |

| Couldn't get the birds out today as everyone probably had rain so cleaned out and fed then off to work replaced rear trailing arm bushes on a ford fiesta what a pain it was working around 18 inches off the floor as we don't have a ramp |

| sounds economical enough does that mark, cant go wrong for the price, and piece of mind....... youll be able to invest in a ramp if we do well in the rpra one loft mark.......life would be a lot easier for you with one eh. |

- Yes Darren, its getting damp for my liking, I know the weather don't help but going back to the scraper and lime, like to keep the shed as dry as possible if I can

| I remember using lime in the 80`s terrible stuff it was........would get in the back of my throat and nose, I now use the versa laga columbine floor whitener for perches and nest boxes, I also sprinkle and mix a bit with the easibed under the perches as it soaks up any damp if there is any. |

| Been to buy my corn had all birds out this morning and gave the lofts a good clean out and a couple of handfuls of sawdust and loft white mix scattered around what the difference a bit of dry weather makes in side the lofts nice and dry with no damp patches just trimmed the bush in the front garden time for a coffee I think |
