hi glemserlofts, good to see you on site and contributing to the topics........yes I use versele laga corn at the moment, its the best all round and I mix it with 1/3rd depurative and then a % of G10 pellets.

once I have young birds in the nest I will alter the mix.

yes I use their mixes ...superstar plus for widowhood racers and energy plus morning of basketing maybe night before too for a stiff middle distance race don't know about distance racing I am only concerned up to 430 miles for ybs I feed junior plus and energy plus morning of basketing for racing, moulting time I feed mutine for old birds and breeding junior o and start plus 50/50 resting period after moult is barley and left over mutine ,I may try dark plus this year on my ybs until they come off the darkness system then revert to junior plus and energy plus,i also add g10 pellets at around 12 % of the mix .i also have used Gerry plus and depurative after the winter lockdown for 2 weeks before they start exercising again atb

The magic mix etc laugh, laugh laugh. 60 years odd I've been on it's trail as such & I suspect I'm no nearer to finding it than when I first started, sadly. Cheers

The magic mix O/S smile, smile, it must be out there some where, when one takes in the waffle by the pigeon grain suppliers I suspect. Because I doubt very much they would tell us a porky/untruth to get a sale etc. Cheers

i used to use a lot of Gerry but one season had a few bad bags a lot of the popcorn maize was poor quality old and chipped on the edges harbouring mould good job i noticed it could have been a fatal problem for the birds  and have been put off since but have never had a problem with their other mixes

Never worried all that much about the polished bit Ray etc. For me, I'm one of those types that loves eating an apple straight of a tree as such & that includes also the skin & the core. Cheers.
