one loft liason

any of our members entering the one loft who would be willing to be our liason with rpra and collect monies for payments I would also think they would have to forward their loft no etc....I will organise birds ,courier and get them vaccinated at the correct time the liason will also be responsible for any up dates to be added to a designated topic for members ,thanks

good point Darren, and thank you for your involvement and organising what your doing.....I personally couldn't be the person we need to organise with the rpra, I`m not that clued up on organising such a thing, ask me to build a wall and yes I`m your man....but organising and taking money isn't something I`m good at.

we need someone who knows the ins and outs of dealing with the rpra and organising skills, maybe a member who is a club secretary might be a good candidate...?

can we run through exactly what we would need to do to get registered with the rpra one loft, how do we go about it and what would our "liason person" need to do.....

duties would be to cover all correspondence with the rpra collect fees from members entering and pay them to the rpra also to create a topic where they can put up-dates or info for members to read ...once the birds are entered its minimal work just need to collect monies from members and get it paid that's the main thing ...then its down to me to sort the rest

shall we wait to hear what tumley says about supplying 2 ybs at the beginning of the season for the one loft, instead of old birds at the end then Darren......?

yes your right lofty, a lot of variations to consider at this stage......

I'd hate to think that the forum were given a pair of ybs by tumley lofts as a prize then have them die at a one loft, if that happened I think that would be the end of birds coming from them, be a huge loss to the members, God, the more I think about it the worse it gets, got a headache now, going to take some tablets lol

yes there is that point lofty, but when you think of what happened with the tumley prize last time, its no worse eh......

as I said I don't see it being a problem ...tumley is a decent guy all I want before I phone is a liason for rpra someone who will collect and pay fee and deal with the correspondence which will be minimal ...we have other avenues for birds I don't see that being the problem ... getting someone to deal with the rpra is the most important thing the support for it is their but I need our house in order before I get anyone else to commit

your right Darren, no point arranging with tumley if we are not organised our selves....and have a plan of action in place.

I will arrange a courier mark we have enough money for a courier if we give £26 each x 10 is £260... £220 for entries and £40 courier .we may even get someone else involved before we move to the next stage which would have to be fairly soon ,are their any places left in the rpra one loft ,was it advertised in this weeks bhw I don't get it anymore

Just had a quick glance at the rules and it says that entries are accepted until the 7th December 2016, have we missed out I wonder, I'll go and read the rest of the rules now.

their racing north with my organisation again the south west England lerwick club by the looks of it ...think the lofts based in Gloucestershire ...looks like we will have to apply for a reserve place

It said in the BHW this week that there are a few places still left

yes just had look steve their are places still available but they will soon go after blackpool

I should think Tumley would jump at it.
It looks to be a no brainer for them, they supply the pigeon and we pay for it to be entered into the one loft race, if it wins it's great publicity for them, if it doesn't they've had a bit of fun to, watching their bird compete.

I hope someone can step up to take on the paperwork.
