| just started training with youngsters i took them 11mile for there first toss took 46 and got 46 back how far do members go on there first one , as a lot of our club members only go about 2 mile for about a week and then move a bit further |

| I did it once, then 10 mile once, 15 mile once, i gradually increased to 50 miles, but must say, only in one direction, maybe i should have change directions. |

niel, i thought you were going to say one 5 miler and then straight in at 100 miles... i would start at 5-8 mile which would see me beating them home, and i would take them further when they beat me home to about 15 miles....i think youve done well getting them from 11 mile first time and getting them all back.....were they ranging ian ? |

| wouldnt you be blushing if you only had 5 ybs and every time you let them out you lost another one..... they arent even flying round the loft never mind ranging or training...... need to get my act togeather....... |

| had them out today and they flew for 20 mins, but landed on the house roof and woulnt come in....had to go for corn so left them out and when i came back they were on the loft roof so i called them and they came straight in....so ive 2 thats well settled so far and 2 that have been looking around for quite a while and 1 thats ready to come away in about a week or so.... |

| had another training toss with youngens 11mile again , this time they beat me back ,none missing |
