| I am finding it more and more difficult to control our race birds.
Most of them are sitting small babies, but one pair has still to lay.
The pair that has not laid yet - all they want to do is to kiss, hump and just go crazy. They are doing things that none of our birds have ever done, like landing on the house roof, going into fields etc.
Because the rest are feeding babies, I can't starve them, and therefore they have no desire to come in for food.
Normally, the birds would go for a fly and then come in and eat. At the moment, the cocks want to clap around the place and most of them want to flirt, going in the field, striking off and generally messing about.
Is this something to expect and will I just have to put up with it for a while?
