right lads lets have a few ideas for a few yb competitons eh that way everyone can be involved with ybs ...maybe we could nominate 4 ybs each see who gets best performance from their nominated ybs at the end of the season ...if we could have 4 ideas to carry forward that would be great we have prizes on offer from gem and pallatts and also 10 bags of corn from bucktons to play for so all responses and participation is welcome so come on lads get yer ideas out their ...thanks

What about , nominate 5 ybs, send in your 5 yb ring numbers to the forum and say the best average for the first 5 races with those 5 , if that makes any sense scratch

I remember a few years ago our friend and member now sadly not with us anymore, graham/birdy , did one where members chose 5 of their ybs before racing started , but I cant remember the details of it......all I remember is it was a pretty decent idea, maybe someone can remember how it worked scratch

I think the general feeling between those members who have given an opinion is something along the lines of choosing some of their birds to do well......type of thing

Each member put up 20 or so band members. Let the members pick 5. Or not.

have we any more suggestions from members for this coming seasons competitions...?

it doesn't have to be anything too complicated, just something to create a bit of interest during racing cheers

Yes nominate 5 or 6 ybs a week before racing say and the one that does the best wins a prize so if 10 people enter that's 60 birds to watch out for on a weekly basis

Ok, so if we mix some ideas up, like mine, johnorms, Ray's, and put forward say 15 of your ring numbers then another member will pick, say, 5 rings out of those and those will be the ones you race for the first 4/5 races, members will have to put on the thread what their first 4/5 races are , and we go from there.

I've read this back and it sounds confusing, but it my head it's clear scratch
