part of the reason im sticking with the T3 and not the ETS knackered, rubbers are peanuts while ETS rings are £1.40 each.......

As clock setter for my club and having both bricon and unikon I find them both as good as each other but they both have their bad points the bricon have bigger pads and their are three ways to set the master and its cheaper unikon have one way of setting the master pads are smaller it does have UK back up which is good but allocating the rings is much harder then the bricon

I bought an ET clock. Club folded. Went to another club they were not allowed. So sold it. Have a Benzing Quartz. Rubbers. Works well. Replace batteries every year to be safe. Quite often beat the guys with ET clocks. Speed traps, band removed before they enter the loft. No chasing. So lose a few seconds to ETS but who cares? Make my own speed traps now.

still using a t3 that's all I hear is moaning about cost of ets rings down our club yet they sink beer by the bucket I used to be against ets but when you thinkabout it a lot of fanciers would have left by now without it ...must be a godsend for some pensioners/people

Never a truer word said Oldstrain. Older Members are leaving a club by us for that very reason. Given the choice of giving up for fear of falling over in the pen catching birds to getting few more years enjoyment from the sport using ETS know which I would choose.

Maybe I should re-consider an EC CC . Missus keeps telling me I'm going to break my neck one day here as I'm always rushing down my steps to my loft etc. ***** |

Can't comment on the bending knackered as I have never seen one work or any of the other makes out their but everyone has their own reasons for choosing what ever clock they won't be it conventional or ets but I would never go back to manual clocking as it is far better for me as time on a Friday is limited not having to right the ring numbers down is a god send and if you send to one or more clubs only one clock is needed it is expensive at first but over a couple of seasons the cost isn't so bad
