115 miles got 3 then 2 old ones. 155 miles got 2 then 3 old ones. Never raced and one 20 mile toss. Short race (if I had drove for an hour to clock off) 4th 5th 7th. 5 missing so much better than expected. Good training toss for them.

Few more home after the thunderstorms. The 115 mile birds came ok. The 155 ones would be way bottom of the sheet. Lasts weeks postponement screwed me up somewhat. All in the club (Fed also) except me fly widowhood. The birds I put through for the other members were light, compared to mine. Lots of mine had crops full. Feeding big youngsters. All young and eggs from that loft now disposed of early this morning. My other loft, mostly 3 year olds will be hatching eggs this coming weekend. These have experience. The first yearling I got yesterday was a red pied feather legged bird. Pretty one, as the guys in the club remarked. Looking forward to this coming weekend.

Still missing 2. Way better than I figured. Nah, pea and a promise never worked for me. Have some young flying for hours. Maybe 15 of them. Actually 1 pair of early ones are sitting eggs. So first toss for some coming soon. Probably a 10 miler but could be a twenty. Will have to see.

Last two were in the loft yesterday am. Both from the short end. Other loft 20 of them go this weekend for first race. 155 miles. Other race is 205 but will skip it. Week after is another 205 and 255. Usually go up 50 miles each week.

Should be a fast one. Going to 205 miles. Weather is favorable so far. No training this week. No open loft either. Planting is in full swing. All the corn and soy seeds are coated with pesticides etc,. Cannot have them fielding yet. seeds too toxic. Best of luck to all others flying.
