| Have I read on here somewhere that to help keep lice under control you can put vinegar in the birds bath, or was that salt |

| salt and vinegar in the bath water roy, ive always used it in the past and never had a problem with lice etc.......ive not used it for a while tho because ive not raced or had much chance to exercise them, hence fewer baths.
I did however get some sort of nibbling on a couple of this years ybs, and found it was due to some second hand nest boxes I had recently fitted, but as I had a few ybs in the section I couldn't duramytex them out......instead I did the salt and vinegar mix and sprayed these new boxes, and problem solved, not had any nibbling since. |

| I put cider vinegar in the bath water for our birds, I don't know if that is being extravagant and a few drops of Sarsons would do just as well.
