| We have two races again with weekend.
I wasn't going to send the y/b's because it has been too hot for them, but today and the rest of the week is going to be cooler - still 20 -22 degrees C, but at least not 39 c as it was yesterday. Too hot for me, let alone the birds.
So young bird race from same pace as last time - around 95 miles - and
Cholet again with O/B's - 140 miles. This will be a good 'pipe opener' for the old birds because next week the will be at a distance of 425 k - the furthest they have been up to now.
Basketing tonight as always with this new club.
What about you guys - what's on the menu this weekend? (apart from beer)lol

| Weather forecast says it should be a bit cooler at the weekend - I do hope so and we don't get thunder until Sunday.
We could do with it to clear the air though.
ATB everyone.

| In the end we only sent 10 birds to Cholet - 7 cocks and 3 hens. Our race hens have started laying eggs.
We didn't sent any young birds this weekend -
As you may know, we basket on a Thursday night and I thought that two nights and a day and a half in a basket for young birds in temperatures of over 30 degrees is TOO much for the little things.
I hope everyone will do well this weekend - we are trusting for a great result - I want beat this one guy in our new club, before we go back to the UK.
For those of you that didn't know - we have at last found a buyer for our French property!

| Our Old Birds were up at 7:45 local time from Cholet.
Only 3 hours flying on an average day. Today we have a slight head wind.
