RPRA Update.

Good Evening

Not a lot of action training wise so far this week as its just been to hot to risk them but now they have just been taken off the darkness we can start loading early mornings when its a lot cooler but saying that when they are out in the mornings some of the batches have started to range off the last three days so in effect they are training themselves.

I will update again on Friday with the latest news.

Good Afternoon

The young birds have been trained the last three days and liberated at roughly 100 a time 4 crates and things are progressing well at this stage once they have been off the darkness long enough we can start to push them a little more patience is the key as we have time on our hands before the first hot spot.

Good Evening

Another good start to the week with training Monday and again today in batches this will continue until were further out as they learn so much more like this , it was high cloud today but excellent visibility and they are starting to get it together now. Its looks like rain tomorrow but Thursday is looking ok.

Good Evening

Weather has just not been on our side the last two days we loaded the birds up this morning and waited until it was good enough to liberate a batch but by the time they were home the weather had closed in again so had to return back to the lofts with the rest which then they were loft flown.

Will try again tomorrow morning and will update in the evening.

Good Afternoon

The weather was with us this morning the sun was shining with a light wind so we loaded early doors I moved on another few miles and liberated in batches most had a good look round and took there time so they will need to come better from here before we move on but overall a good day.

Forecast looks reasonable for next week so will update on Monday and at some point will upload another loft list next week.

Good Evening

The birds have been loft flown the last couple of days , they are in great condition and seem happy and content but its back at it tomorrow training with them.

Good Evening

Training again liberated in batches some of the batches were broken up and some were not and birds still arriving , I have uploaded a list of birds as they have arrived over the pads on the training tab don’t forget they had 10 minutes or so between each batch but it gives you something to study.

Will train again tomorrow all being well and update in the evening.

They did better in training today they cleared well all apart from one batch that took a little more time and hopefully they are learning to be leaders and not followers.

One more from this point then were move on.

Good Afternoon

We loaded bright and early this morning before the temperatures got on the rise , every batch cleared well and returned well at the home end the best they have done so far so its time to move on a bit further and see how we do.
