The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.

Nothing from me David etc. But my local Fed at the weekend here had 4,400 odd birds in there race & 3 of the chook farmers types had 1500 birds between them at a dollar a bird, type thing . Crazy world pigeon flying for some.

Miserable git only 999. I take it he kept one back etc Don didn't wish to crack, that $1000 note he keeps in his wallet. Now !!!. The following isn't for the Crazykooch types here. A local flyer "Hippy/bushy type" decided he wasn't going to race this year because of the issue with the Rota virus. Problem was nobody wanted his pigeons so he had to find a solution to his problem as such & so he eat 90% of his race team . Fortunately for the other 10% he then decided in his wisdom to race them "Bit tough on the old tummy" & he come out & won his Fed here at the weekend etc . Once again, crazy world this pigeon caper .
