RPRA Update Sunday 27th Aug

Good Evening

Busy day mowing the fields getting ready for the big final race after the pigeon work there is still plenty to do.

The car for the Ace pigeon will be onsite for the final race again i love following this as you do.

Hot Spot 4 the prize money for first place alone is a cool 3 K with the final race a massive 25 K for the winner and prizes now paid out down to 100th place.

I have a few ideas for next year regarding trapping with a concrete runway set in between the Top and Bottom loft among other improvements to do away with all the traps which some thought needs to go into it.

We have had a few more turn in today from the race must be because with had a bit of East in the wind will put a full loft list on Tuesday night.

We will be training tomorrow to keep them tight so will put a live link on in the morning with a lib time etc.

Provisionally looking at the weather Hot Spot 4 could be on Thursday but will let you know nearer the time.

A winners report will be on tomorrow night as details have not long come through.

I am seeing a school doing well the last two races so hope to do a bit on them.

hotting up now, only 2 races to go and we still have both our birds in it.........next race Thursday will give 3k 1st prize, then the big one, final race will pay 25k 1st prize

final race will pay the first 100 pigeons clocked, so we`ve a chance of winning something..........

I think the twilight school that Tumley donated birds to is leading the schools league, they've already picked up £125 I think in prize money

a good sign then maybe eh boosey, would be nice to win something.....they went on a 25 mile trainer today, and both our birds are back, clocked 4 and 5 mins behind the winner, so not bad at all...

is that all just 2 races left

5 minutes isn't to bad, while the distance is still going up
