silly money...whose going to race direct offspring from them...ybs will be at least £500/£1000
each....maybe grandchildren £100.....

I've got to be honest, the little time I've been racing I've noticed that this is what is killing the sport, someone pays 10,000 for a bird, so he's got to get his money back, say sells the young for 1,000 each, so the next guy has to make his money back by selling say at 250 each, after that is it worth buying youngsters as you're getting so far from the original bird and its offspring is getting crossed with whatever and newcomers get dissolutioned and leave the sport
