presentation night

its our presentation night tonight with a buffet,disco,live performer (music not lap dancers lol ) me Alfie and my pigeon driver (father in law) will be attending... alfies a bit nervous about collecting his cards and trophy. should be a goodnight ...not many make a night of it now ,this is our club not our organisation/fed  so fair play for making a night of it also one of our members does a rendition of chubby checker but probably more akin to roy chubby brown a good night to be had

was a good night lads the disco never showed so we had the pleasure of chas n dave on guitar and keyboard Alfie did not rate them presentation was done first then the buffet then settle down to the music ...one of our club members used to be a amateur singer/entertainer and he did a few on the mic lol in fact he was better than chas n dave with their rabbit Alfie picked up some pocket money (dads winnings for the season) which went straight in his pocket and we had a handful of cards to also yb average winners ...but for me it was nice to see the club members socialising with their families in tow not seen the like since I been back in pigeons since I was a kid in the 70's back then presentation night was a big occasion so it was nice taking a trip down memory lane

Well done daz and Alfie, always nice to pick up a couple of cards, yb averages a very nice bonus to daz

Well done..sounds like a really good night...bet there was some races won last night

thanks lads ...yes david their was some older trophies there pre ww11 yes plenty of races won last night before a feather has been seen...I also put myself forward as clocksetter which was gratefully received ...nobody else was going to do it and it has to be done else no race as such ,by the way our club is non ets all on the T3

There are a few of them       left over their Hal, not many thou but a few are still fighting the fight so to speak . Handsome little fella by the photo there our little mate here I suggest who is having a great night out on the town & picking up some pocket money along the way as such .
