Anyone racing today......?

has anyone raced today, or have there been hold overs.........? havnt heard off anyone yet.

hi david , what i can gather from other sites clubs in and around bristol and the midlands
lib to day at yelverton in devon and they have had realy bad returns . down here in somerset
it,s been freezing cold all day full cloud cover ne wind , im basketing to night for a race tomorrow
from east prawl in the morning better day tomorrow with a bit of sun .

hi kev, been bad here all day......cloudy with cold winds, havnt heard of anyone racing on here or other sites really, maybe been some held over? hope the weathers better for you tommorrow kev how many you sending.....?

i,m sending 35 tomorrow to folkestone but will not be there as i,m going to glasgow for a concert.gutted

who will be clocking then ray, your brother.....? hope you get a good un again

hi david , ive sent 10 , ive heard bristol fed racing from yelverton been realy bad
for returns why they let go today i don,t know they would have passed right over
my place not good for racing today freezing cold . all being well better for tomorrow down here

hi kev, by what ive heard/read its been nasty all over kev, too cold for them in my view, plus the wind......dont know what direction its been but i would emagine its too cold for them to race in. hope its a better day for you tommorrow and your able to get a good race.

just been speaking to fred bloor who takes the birds to the race point
last week i clocked in in 1hr and 35 mins . but i got beat by the over fly but as i don,t have a clock set it does,nt matter but there comming with the leaders so im happy with that just just not breaking out quick enough hopfully tomorrow
it will be a better day .

i know in our club all of the first birds have all been within the same time with just yards between them.......this has been for the last few weeks too. dont know what happened with our race today (only racing ybs) and havnt heard from ken(friendslofts) so i presume they might have been held over ? we`ll see if he puts any results on tommorrow.


hope you get them breaking at the right point tommorrow kev, hopefully they will have got the line right after last weeks practice run..........

Our fed let go at Falaise yesterday (186mile to us), let go at 0745hrs the weather at home was awful all day, Freezing & heavy rain showers..........but they battled through, very split up at the club we timed at 12.17 and birds were soaked through and very tired some members hadnt seen a feather by 5.00pm

Other birds at Exeter (105m) let go this morning at 0730hrs and again very cold here with heavy showers, so it will well wrapped up again shortly as i go get ready

thanks for letting us know mark, hope you timed a good one from the falaise yesterday after such a hard race for them..........havnt heard from ken yet so hopefully he will let us know at some point today,

we were lucky yesterday

hope they get a liberation today then if the weather better, no doubt they will let us know how they do later if they are up................

another tough one today, this time from Exeter.........very cold, rain and strong North Easterly wind

first ones clocked 10.17 from 0730 liberation doing 1114ypm and very split up again, there will be empty perches again tonight, we are still 6 away
