| How much is it to send a bird in a 'One Loft race'? When and what age?
I know some countries are able to race ay/b programme then enter the South African one. |

| I think its £125 per bird to enter the rpra daz, and they must be a certain age, not sure exactly but not too old like some one lofts do. |

I know some countries are able to race ay/b programme then enter the South African one. ybs have to be between 28 and 42 days old and sent up un vaccinated in early to mid march if my memory serves me correct as they go onto the darkness system |

| Maybe it is a way I could go in the future... Either having a couple of pairs again, or going halves with another etc. Do miss the birds obviously, after 65 years it becomes a way of life. Took illness and whatnot plus 5 years for it to actually happen.... Thoughts for the future. Wife silently please, is getting used to it now... Bedding plants etc. in the loft etc. lol. Won't upset the lady too early lol. But then I quickly guess I would - if having a pair or so here I would be back to same old.... So - heavy sigh - So that won't happen. Maybe I could be a silent partner with some one next season or so... who knows! |
