| not sure if its just the way the picture has been taken but seems to have some abnormality around the crop area ,I would think the bird is happy to be safe as it would be an easy target for a hawk or falcon or even crows ,sorry I don't know the breed but a lovely looking bird |

| There are hundreds of different breeds of pigeons, and I have never seen one like this one.
Perhaps it may be a make believe.

Think barnie is right as it’s exactly the same as in the video. |

| Looked it up and you are right regarding all the aspects of the breed, and they are apparently abundant in Poland.
But there just seems something odd at the appearance of this particular pigeon in the picture, but well done for your investigation.

| Suggested that fanciers may take up showing many times, the raptors could not be a problem and the actual show pigeons are a site to behold.
Fanciers could do this for a few years and deprive the raptors of their meals. I enjoyed the showing side as much as anything and the chance to meet different fanciers from far off places was an addotional bonus.
However, as with budgies etc, some are now beyond recognition as the natural breed and this I do not agree with. in particular when they cannot have a normal life, but each to his/her own.
Regards.
