| To you too, denise, thought you had got lost, how are things in your neck of the woods?
Are you ready for racing next year?.

| Think it is always nice for people to have a break and a get together in a peaceful manner, in particular those who do a hard and worthwhile job like caring for others, have several friends who are in that occupation.
Not in agreement with much that is involved in Christmas.
If the money spent on all the pomp and circumstance involved in the Church of England over the Christmas period along with using the vast properties owned by them as shelter for the homeless there would be no homeless and a surplus to ensure it continued in that manner.
If they believed in what they preach they would be wearing rags until everyone else was clothed etc;
I would think there are far more honest people in prison than running the Church of England and who have a far better understanding of Christianity.
Regards. |

| Personally I think that the Christmas story is one of the greatest 'Fairy Tales' of all time. Ok a short thread of truth shortened a bit more and embellished has certainly proved wonders. Indeed so, that many people - Billions - believe that there even might be a bit of truth in it! … Well not so much today. More an festival where one gets pleasure spending money … sadly often regretted a few days after. But then, all to their own, ,,, Often wonder if for the children who ARE the children lol : Mind the good thing is that it brings many family and friends together. |
