the council have no authority over me knackered..........in fact they have no authority over anyone really, they are public servants paid out of tax money

Talk is cheap one could suggest maybe David . Councils are like little politicians types I suspect & like living in a world I'm   of using there so called power over the peasant brigade for their own self glory type of thing .

spot on knackered, the trouble is joe public are ignorant of who is actually in charge, we are brainwashed from birth to accept perceived power, and being told what we can and cannot do. our parents enslave us when they register our birth, hence the birth certificate, making us conform to their acts and statutes........same with a driving license , we apply to sit a test and sign to be allowed to drive, thus making us liable to the road traffic act.

You worry about small issues David etc. Just let the boat brigade come in numbers there I suggest & you really will have an issue to be concerned about I suspect . That's it waffle over now roosters are starting to crow here so birds/breakfast time for this old fella .

Rained all day here. YB loft cleaned. Wean in another week. Cold weather returns tonight. No more Winter breeding for me. Too much of a hassle.

I've got other thoughts on my mind here David 3 am ish & its 33 C. Maybe alright for the ers in the garden but I'm just wondering if I will see the day out as it's tipped to hit 45 C here today & I have a visit to my friendly dentist "hopefully"     around lunch time etc .

Oh       to be so lucky etc "wet & miserable" I'm also miserable Daz but it's because it's been 45 C here today as such . Now, you may just have at times seen where I say certain type pigeon flyers can be as dumb as horse sh*te type of thing here Well, I found one today here sadly. Old fella type well before xmas made an appointment with his dentist for some dental work today of all days      which was the hottest day in over 5 years here I'm   . Amazing how stupid certain pigeon flyers can be at times I suggest .

Winds getting up here blustery..woke me up 2am..can't sleep with the window shut so thats me up now..warm enough.

I'm in that 2am mode thing here FW with our weather. True story little fat bloke rang yesterday afternoon for a chat Missus told him I was asleep & couldn't be woken up type of thing. Then he rang his toss partner for a chat His missus told him he was a sleep & couldn't be woken up as such So in desperation for some one to have a chat with, he rang his mate over in Tasmania for a chat & his missus answered the phone there & then said he is a sleep as such & under no circumstances can here be woken up . Then his son rang & said I'm I'm on holidays at the moment dad & can you just pop round & fix all my birds up for me being such I kind generous type you are. With that he then went outside & threw his mobile phone to kingdom come & then kicked sh*te out of the neighbours cat to just fill in time & get some pleasure out of the day.

1946-47 winter. The great snows and cold. Great floods here.
It was one of the worst on record. Certainly one of the snowiest of the previous 150 years when the wintry weather came. This, however, hadn't set in until late January 1947. Once the cold set it certainly did! The milder weather didn’t return to the British Isles until at least till the middle of March, and then only partially.
The end of January 1947 had seen some freezing nights recorded in parts of southern England. On the night of the 28th/29th Writtle in Essex, for instance, temperatures dropped to -20.6C. On the night of the 29th and 30th Elmstone in Kent temperatures dipped down to -21.3 C. Nationally some of the coldest nights ever measured in late January.

An estimated six million sheep alone perished amongst other farmers stocks. Country life took a battering. Farmers losses and other hard working were more than a burden to bear. Livestock paying an enormous toll.

Especially as we hadn't seen the likes very often, and at best were not prepared for such.

35C here again today Hal Toss you if you like     if you fancy a weather change etc. That's it waffle finished as I hear the roosters in motion so breakfast/bird time here now .
