Cold, very cold, but looking out one would think it was mid summer, as with many things looks can deceive.

Cars windows iced up.
Clear blue skies and not a cloud in view. Cold will a chill in the wind. Still not seen a snow flake even.

Minus 20 c tonight then warming up to minus 11 tomorrow. Then next few days above freezing. Well still frozen. Pump is 30 plus feet below ground. Oh well. Happens every six years or so.

Just had the hottest January on record here etc Rog I'm told by the experts & since a midget of a man       called Cook stole my little island off the black fella types as such. Bush fires here now in Tasmania "down south" have burnt out thousand year old trees sadly. Up north some places have had 8 inches of rain a day for 3/4 days on the trot. Crocodiles/snakes are taking up residence in some houses, things are getting that bad there for what I see on TV . Today here, it's that rooster thing again     but will end up around the 35 C mark again I have no doubt with tomorrow hitting 40 odd again, going by the expert types as such on the local front.

Had a light splatter of snow early this morning. Some small flecks, odd spit on cars.... Gone by 11 though. Lovely and warm here, and I read that it was suppose to be yjr coldest day since 2012.

Roosters not up here yet But will be a pleasant 39/40 C type of day here today again, by what my bones tell me etc . Now     an expert type here said, if one places ones hand on concrete as such & it feels hot     it is harmful to ones pets as such. Loft corrugated iron roof here can be 40/45 C & my birds are out on it sunbaking to their hearts content, with wings stretched out for the enjoyment factor & their belly on the hot tin type of thing & a hot bath also down below which they show no interest in     Strange things pets at times     I could/would maybe suggest.

much colder this morning feels colder than -1 that's for sure should get milder here on in for the foreseeable future

Relief day here for the peasants, when the roosters start to crow as such after yesterdays belter drop from 40 to around 23 etc Lovely, lovely cup of tea type of thing situation .

A wet start here today but should dry up through out the day
