Weather today

Think I'd look at myself in the mirror before basketing any birds personally. Think could be later than a Sunday lib.
Lets hope for good results, before looking in the mirror after timing in. Fingers crossed eh!

Just what one can expect, Months of good weather, come a holiday week end, Winter weather, Tour of Yorkshire bike race, could not be worse weather for the contestants.


Not too good for our feathered friends either.


Better than some parts of the world though.

Started off with some blue skies and sun getting a bite. However very cloudy, and much darken or black at the moment.
A brisk N.N.E to a North East wind.

much brighter and a bit warmer now in the west country for those racing from the area...expected to stay this way for the rest of the day

Menacing Dark clouds from E.N.E. brisk winds. Trees bowing and as Joyce says 'Its going to rain'! Well that's a definite, and soon.

Brisk winds are starting to blow down here also Daz reminder winter is just around the corner as such for this old fella I'm . Heat charm wood heater here about to get a real work out as such.

Last night, around 5 O'clock we had a hail stone torm… again. Yes only lasted a few minutes. But I fer any pigeon racing would have had to land. No two ways about that.

Today is flipping cold east in Wind. The dark clouds low, so some where, or in many 'Where's' there is going to be a lot of rain- hail stones cI fear. Hope, for any pigeon racing they will miss this. Remember too that pigeons will fly around rain etc. if possible ...

sh**e here But best I keep it a secret maybe Rog Tourism & all that scenario etc. Now     Couple of organisations started racing here last weekend as such. One had 9 flyers & 200 odd birds. Short flyer 30 miles, longest flyer around the 90 mile mark it appears . Not quite U N Combine style I suspect like with our Ray here, but one must do what one can to race in the end if one is looking for the enjoyment factor come race day as such I suspect/suggest.

same here today

cold, raining and miserable day here............was 27 degrees this time last year

Diabolical weather, but 'HEY' we at least are alive to enjoy it.
