| had a egg smashed today good one in the making to from the pair that bred our 30th mnfc bird last year not happy at all this cock just seems to want to cause trouble in the neighbouring boxes above and below ,would be gone by now but our best yb last year ,guess it solitary confinement for 6 weeks will let him out 3 times a day under supervision to get what he needs ,cant see any other way other than taking him out of the section altogether but that would not suit for his racing ,always 1 it seems ,any ideas lads he was a nightmare to go down with his hen very aggressive bird but I guess that makes some of them ,the dominance factor luckily its in the race section ,stock section should see our one loft babies hatching out tonight and everything in their is tickety boo |

| haven't done this myself but heard of fanciers tying a bothersome birds legs together, let it take a supervised beating from the cocks who's boxes it's entering. Not sure if I'd like the idea though? Seems severe. He could be worse once his hen's taken away. Personally I'd get him out for the time being, you'll kick yourself if he breaks more eggs or tramples babies. Try him back in once all the hens are away, you've kept him this long. |

| Would not tolerate one pigeon causing so much trouble.
If his offspring are so important put him and his hen on their own, he will race just the same and have not wasted energy fighting.

| Don’t know what to suggest on this one, I’ve had similar this year with A cock that won’t let me settle any other clock into the box next to him, I’ve tried cuddly toys , supervised beating. Dragging him around the box by his head then throwing him out onto the floor so he thinks the other bird has done it. It’s as if he’s possessed he comes back over my head to beat the granny out of the other bird, I’ve wasted weeks shutting them in st different times to get used to each other but he’s a phsyco, he’s fine any other time he just goes crackers if he sees something in the next box to he’s left. At least I will have a good wind up for racing. |

| Removed mine and his hen from the stock loft and put them in the empty yb loft. Now sitting in there. I have changed the appearence of the front of the box at other times Fully open or half blanked off anything to make the boxes hes going into that he shouldn't look abit different. Pain in the bum |

| Have a check cock and BB hen. Excellent racers. So put them in the stock loft.First nest the two youngfroze at 14 days. Bad parents. The next two froze yesterday at 14days. Those two go back to the race loft. |

| Yes tying the legs together , leaving enough slack so it can just about walk. Can't fight as no balance etc. But I never tried it. |

| We have three bins, green, brown, blue.
The Brown is collected every fortnight, and has garden waste, the green one every fortnight and has house hold waste and the blue one for paper and plastic.
As oldstrain says the garden one is £50 per year the other two covered by the rates.
We can also call the council to collect large items fridges etc also usualy free.
Regards.

| Went to my mates Garage yesterday. Power steering problem, Rack or pump, we will see.
Any road here he was draining galleon drums into 40 Galleon drums. Why? Because they can no longer be burnt. Neither the county Council or Local council know what he is supposed to do with them. Can't go on land fill. Can't go to the tips... nowhere in Northants! So they are piling up on space needed for a car or two!
Last night the News topic was: 'Recycling'. Seema to be about the same since 2010. Ohhhhh THEN they show a massive incinerator at Peterborough! Yes has been burning for a while now. Massive heat. Massive plant! Are now I see why the garages are not allowed to burn, take to the tips etc. They will have to pay to go to the likes of Peterborough incinerator! Of course the will have to pay! Have to take time, effort and money to do so... More costs then on car repairs I guess... No wonder why 'Road Side tips are so popular! Which again costs us rate payers a fortune to sort out.
Mates family - pigeon fanciers - were butchers. Had their own slaughter house. All legal and licensed. Used to go there to get the tripe for my dogs. About 10 miles. Green and by gosh didn't half whiff! In fact when I moved here and started up again they gave me some bird. then Barry said 'Sorry Roly, I can't do, not allowed to now, It has to go to ...'. then a few months later he was told all such slaughter houses were being closed and central places only allowed to kill. He challenged it. they came back and stated that he had no longer a license! He asked how come, he was fully licensed and paid up! 'No, sorry your not, you need so and so and such and such license etc. Said he again to them 'My son Troy has all the necate paperwork and licences'. 'No he hasn't, and he was forbade from continuing slaughtering his own and other's live stock. A part of his income gone, and other expenses incurred! Tough to carry on … A couple of months later a main slaughter house wrote and asked Troy to go for an interview regards a job. Not just a job, but to take charge of the slaughter house as he was one of the only few eligible qualified person. So as the shop was starting to flag, and money etc. offered was good, they closed the shop. Troy went to work at Spalding and his dad became a milk man!
It is called the Government's 'Ole Boys brigade' To make money for pals...
Light bulbs here for many miles were 50 odd year old. Still working well! Chameleon said we have to cut down on electricity! So road side lights turned off etc. A one motorway and more etc. was never lit up at night! But the A14 and others were lit up good time... no need!
I stated to all and sundry then, that the Chameleon must have friends in that business! Gosh lol and behold about 3 years later new lamp posts and lights all around! Not any better, indeed oft not so good! Ah that firm belonged to an old chum of his. they went school and Uni etc. Friends of the family! You couldn't make it up! The Chameleon WAS AND IS very wealthy. Wife in money has £330 million at the time... He spent £34.000 for a marble table for his and friends Christmas dinner.. and got shot off just after as it was too big! Bought an Old shed for £25.000! to potter about in! Then has the gaul to spout they are not wealthy, just 'Middle Class'" |

| Daz, I think wealth in terms of happiness, which can be a fortune in terms of wealth or next to nothing.
Know some very rich people who are anything but happy, read the papers etc; they have to resort to many disputable actions to get their kicks, cannot keep a mariage together etc; etc;
Money does not buy happiness but causes great pain in many instances.
I am aware that there are many people who for one reason or another find it hard to cope financialy but the majority of happy people do not depend on money as the sole reason for there happiness. . Regards.

| Too worried about losing it. Onassis said aged 69 or more - LIKE many others ' I am one of the riches guys in the world. I have hotels, holiday homes all around the earth. Tankers etc. etc. Yet I can't stop working 14 hours a day 7 days a week. Like many more Millionaires I know.
Wife makes me laugh saying 'I'd rather be rich and miserable than Hard up and happy' Fortunately se has no choice, we lack wealth lol.
Contentment is every thing! that I have- with Joyce - in abundance! 'What if you gain the whole work today … and die tomorrow'! What have you gained. I storing up treasure in heaven hopefully. |
