I always like to have a good look at 'ACE PIGEONS'
" JAME's LEGEND: is not the normal type.
He is not the normal shape, he has very small feet, and his eyes are in an unusual position in his head.
Probably a complete one off who may not produce his like.
Cannot understand the mentality of those paying over a few quid for a pigeon.
Regards.

True Misty. May not produce of his like … a very good chance of that like ALL pigeons. However his grand children may. Louella famously said on a BBC programme. No bird can guarantee to breed his like... but improves the chances. It is the blood / genes and how a pair mix them and bond I guess. P.S in all sports an odd ball, or shouldn't excel happens that they / it does. Remember the constant commentators and those in the know saying Michael Johnson style of running is totally not good, he shouldn't be a 200 / 400 metre runner! Likewise Usain Bolt was too tall. Also he lacked stamina for the 400 metres... Did a couple of stand ins without training and clocked good times... But won't move up because he didn't fancy doing the training for it. Too hard a graft he said. That he was a lazy trainer, and only trained as little as possible. Maybe so, maybe not, but I think, personally, he trained well and hard for the 100 and 200 metres.

As I have said many times, " Any animals or humans abilities are limited when born and nothing will make them go beyond, although there are means of getting the maximum and a means of ruining potential.

Come to think of it, the only things I have never heard regarding offspring is that no one has had a champion hatched from either a boiled or poached egg.

Subject: Regards Tracking Mon Mar 25, 2019 1:35 pm
Tracking, Why? We know so little now in real terms that maybe we can carry on trying to understand, and learn what we already don't know. One little jib, not at anyone in particular for, is that I feel it is all well and fine trying to learn and understand certain aspects of our so-called sport … especially in regards how and where they fly to. This, of course, opens up vast and many different elements that may, or may not affect their flight, or even homing instincts. So, is it really relevant outside of a point of interest?
indeed whom, and what would or could be an advantage to us?
Now for the little jib. Isn't it an authentic reality that we actually know very little in regards to our beloved birds? In fact next to nothing. Thesis and thoughts become myths often very quickly! Homing instincts etc. are thought up, then blown out of the water! Motivation is surely no more than one's personal belief. Like Training, Breaking points, the zeal and zest of what makes them tick … indeed a whole array of myths doubts and proven to be NOT proven facts.
