Arthritis ..........

Throw you mobile away I suggest David maybe & get off face book as such to cut down your work load etc . Truth be told thou Arthritis can be a real problem/issue for many people sadly unfortunately I've found. Bloke I toss with at weekends here has it real bad in all his fingers now unfortunately & it wouldn't help him doing the normal type things one does with our birds I suspect.

I have it in my knees my thumb my foot ect lol...horrible

both hips n base of spine,thumbs n wrist not feeling great either.
plus im a soft sh**e and moan about it constantly, according to her who must be obeyed.

Had new hip, or would not be mobile, other hip saved by taking two tablets a day, but have it in hands, cramp when not used for a prolonged period, have to open and shut until gets working again, all in the run of the mill I am afraid, (Glucoldamine, Condesteran) not sure of spelling I leave the box in the car and take them every morning when taking the dog out.

Not pleasant in particular when you are young.


They run the NHS down but without it I would be in a wheel chair.


Get rid of all the self inflicted mob, drugs and beer related and there would be empty beds in all the hospitals.

me too, hands, grip etc

Had no idea it was so widespread, thought it a condition of the older generation.


Googled it and was surprised at the amount of distress it causes to people of all ages.



Apparently an organisation is attempting to bring the matter to the attention of the NHS erc;



Hope they have some success because it ain't a very nice thing.

Suspect as you say O/S etc. Place here called Rabbit flats just broke a record of sorts 115 days of 39 C type days or above there on the trot Suggest Arthritis type issues there would be of little concern I suspect .

I think arthritis can be brought on by a few ways Darren, that probably explains why there are different types........she rekons its in her thumbs because of texting on her phone, but she also has joint pain in her knees, which I personally think is down to her doing karate from a young age, she started when she was 6 years old, which you would think is good.....but training while bones, muscles, ligaments etc are growing obviously isn't good, and can effect you later in life.

Just looked up, Glucosamine and Chondroitin, the tablets I have taken for over 12 years, there is an article which says they are not good for the problem, but at the end it is just an advert for ones they say are better, at a price of course.


I started taking them on the recommendation of friends and the local pharmacist, the latter takes them her self.


Definitely saved my other hip from having to be operated on and although I do have pain and discomfort in the fingers one can expect it at my age but not in youngsters.


Perhaps a natter with the local pharmacist may help, David.

I take those tablets and have done for years. When i stopped for a while i could,nt get out of bed . It was terrible so i continued taking them

Popcorn maize..redskin peanuts sunflower hearts pudding rice...

Honestly I couldn't do without them and just ordered a years supply from woods online . Cost a fortune at Holland and barrett

You cannot help some people, I do know they are getting harder to obtain through the local chemist. will maybe try the peel bros way, thanks for the info.
