racing this weekend 22/23 june

where are members racing from this weekend ,we had a week off last weekend the race conditions and birdage was poor so stayed away from it ,turned out a bad race to.this weekend we race from Ilkeston 120 miles and we are sending our 7 cocks...good luck to all members racing this coming weekend atb

Another huntingdon for us again . Had a few of them . About 190 miles

fourgeres for us, still dithering what to send 340 to me

Sent 6 to Berwick tonight with London North Road Combine, about 306 miles I think.

Smiths Falls for me. Just a 320 miler. Weather should clear by Saturday.
No matter. All go. Still have to cut down.

You lucky people, all the feelings of will they actually go to the race, will the weather be kind, what time will they go up, have I sent the right ones Etc;

All and the feelings and others that make the sport.

Sent 6 with the MCC at messac 331mls and 29 to Exeter 150mls east south east at messac south east at Exeter should make good times hopefully

we were up at 6am it was a good race or so it seemed 7/7 and we had 4 drop together all in the loft in the 10 minutes only 116 miles mind you good conditions to...good luck today to those racing the channel and to you steve at Berwick and our hal in Canada atb

thanks misty the only drawback is the mrs now says I have plenty time for gardening duties I was hoping for a days viewing of cricket and horse racing but she who must be obeyed has put the kibosh on that

First 4 today from exeter had the same hen come again that's 3x1st on the bounce and also provincially 23 open Midlands continental classic from messac

Sent 25 cocks. Nest. 320 miles. Wind was bad. Release time up was 8 am. Figured 12 Noon 1100 mpm. 1 pm clock in house. Told my wife no chance so had scrubbed it. She never said anything. She thought a while and shrugged. Then informed me at 3 pm that 8 hours was 2 pm. Clock was stopped then. Went out to check. 4 in loft. Oh well. Tough day. But!! 6 day birds. Many next day. Missing 8. Ideal for me!!
Now down to numbers I can manage.  2 weeks hens go. Same 320. Extra hens. Then culling starts. Loft comes down.

Shortest daylight hours down here Barnie Gale force winds & heavy rain for those racing here tomorrow as such, if game . I start next week here half my race team thou I'm  is still flying the sky at lunch time today here after a fly away last night etc. Should be OK thou next week, as I have had 3 tosses so far while some have had around 70 odd to tune them all up for the first few sprint type races as such here. Interesting part is I'm 1 toss in front of my mate, the little fat bloke .  

Cannot fly this weekend. May call old birds quits.
