good going again,

Club this week was rubbish only 3 sent 94 birds .fed I think 350 mark . Only the elite flying still lol. So beating them us still our aim . I had half the birdage as well and would be disappointed if I didn't get a decent result but again that's nit always the case . Never hide the fact I am a mob flyer

Well done regardless of birdage, I know who you have to complete against and how hard it is to win.

Harder to beat a few good ones than a hundred also rans.

Very few horses enter the classics.

But a pity there are not more fanciers involved today, can remember having 6 bird limits because the transporters were full every week.

A memory can be a terrible thing Misty I suggest at times for us old folk types etc left in this caper of ours today. Nightmare scenario comparing todays ways to how things were in the past as such    .

Tried all that 6 bird nom thing to give everyone a equal chance ect but the same top lads win it . The ones that don't win it just drop out . I have been there at the bottom but I have tried to do something about , some can't and some just won't.  I hate getting beat at anything I do so I try by best to beat the top blokes to the best of my ability

If you are in any sport it is competitive, there can only be one winner, I never made winning a cause for not getting the maximum of enjoyment from it but obviously winning is the aim or why bother, just keep for fun.

If you put the effort in you deserve the rewards.


We used to have 40 and over club or so members when I first started now there are many clubs with low single figures.


You can only beat those that enter and unfortunately they are getting less and less year on year.


You just have to make the best of what is available.

True many start with a bang etc I've found Ray     but most fall by the wayside sadly by the end thou unfortunately from my experience.
