holidays during season

how many take a hloiday during the season as im going on holiday on monday
for a week in turkey , i can,t wait to go i need a break but also i hate going at this time
for i have the birds in the right condition now i have to leave them in my father inlaws hands
with my instructions on what to do . i go at this time as it,s cheaper for the family and family come first .

hi kev, havnt been on holliday for years........but would be worrying about my birds all the time good you have someone you can trust tho to look after them

of man who likes any kind of animal and would not hurt a fly .
so i can fully trust him but it does not stop me from worrying .

have a good peaceful holiday then mate

i have a few mates round about me that also fly pigeons.even although they know what they are doing its still not the same way as i feed and water them.i dont go for a full week but tend to go a few long weekends away 3 times a year.

think it would spoil my holliday worrying about my birds, even if they were being looked after well.......

fancier in next street who i look after his birds is on his second holliday already, weve only had about 6 races so far too...........bet hes got more to come lined up before the season ends

i know a guy who hasnt went away on holiday for 20 odd years because he wont leave his doos with someone else to look after.

i dont go on holiday i dont trust anyone to look aftre my birds.they my pride and joy.but to be honest of just late with my health and things i need a break and think its time for a holiday

we all need one every now and then mark, it will do you good.....................

everyone is on the same boat then when it comes to parting with the birds for a week.its only a holiday and im sure we owe it to our families.if you dont have anyone to feed the birds then you could ask the trainees at the local vet to do it for a small fee.
