the lack of posting

not many people posting on here whats the reason anybody know where has everyone gone same people on all the time

think part of the reason is because racing is on, personally it wouldnt make any difference to me but it seems with some members it does.........altho ive noticed other sites dont seem to be effected much by it probably because they have hundreds/thousands of members registered, hopefult the site will survive the quiet spell its going through but as ive told one or two members over the last few weeks, if it doesnt pick up soon or after racing has finished theres not much point in keeping it going.

p.s. as most members will know, activity creates activity so the more members we get to make posts........the more the "bots" will direct traffic to the site therefor drawing new members to the site.............

thats right steve, altho when you think about it P.B. has about 11,000 members registered but usually at the most there will be 50 online............ so when you think we only have 130 and out of those we normally only have mostly about 12 regulars posting.

i think we have about 20 plus members who have never even been on the site ....

no im wrong, we have 55 members registered who have never made a post/reply

its always same on all forums majority register then never seen again, all work you put into building forum then keeping it going, it gets at you i deleted hundreds none active left about 50 active, a small forum with good members, is always better than big forums too much arguing goes on

1st mistake, host is always right never admit youre wrong always find a way to make out youre right

i think if i deleted the members who have never posted or dont come on regular we would have about 15 active posters............

I think it is because of the racing as soon as the season finishes and people have more time then you mite see an increase in people and posts

You watch if people know about the youngbird exchange then people mite want to be apart and creat a bit more interest for the site

If we can do well in the one loft race then that is the chance for the site to shine fingers crossed it happens

hope so don, it was like this last year during racing.........but then again we only had about 25 members at the time so it needs to pick up a bit really, altho there are some members who have moved on to other sites of their own so wont be bothering posting here on ours again.......

I understand mate just got to get through this quiet time

hopefully don, i remember the original members who got us through last years quiet spell......so maybe we can do it again as we do have a few more this year who come on regular.

il still be here i hope we can make some noise wen we win the one loft race aswell we can rub peoples noses in it for we might be a small site be its the best one for talkin and advice if you you need it and one of the most freindlyest sites around

David you have my support mate, but must say it is only when you get knob heads on hear with big mouth and know it all that do my head in mate

how many on this site are in the one loft race?is it only racing guys who can join in?

hi rene, yes i know the site you mean......its a shame its gone that way because at one stage it was doing really well, but in my opinion part of the reason it went down hill is because of arguements between a certain few who were out to cause trouble and destroy the site........... i know we have had one or two squabbles on here and to be honest ive been part of one or two ill admit, and it doesnt do the site any favours........

as long as we can keep the good members on site it should keep us going until we get more good new members to get involved in the chat.
