| hi paul, tricky situation your in, as its a none fancier obviously they wont want to keep it and then again you can expect them to dispose of it like you could a pigeon fancier..........i would emagine it would be very expensive to get the bird returned to you and cant think of how you would do it......??? as they are none fanciers they are within their rights to have the bird humainly disposed of if you dont want it back and they only way for them would be by taking it to a vet which when you think about it could be cheaper than getting it back home to you....... at a loss as to what to say to do about it, hopefully other members might be able to offer good advise. |

| Hahaha, my racing season is over before it began, one guy make me an offer for all my birds , after i beat him time and again at the training tosses, i could not resist. I have learnt one thing, he does not know, Good pigeons is the basis of racing, but with poor management, is worth nothing. |

I was thinking about Koopmans and janssen pigeons maybe 2 pairs. might as well go for the good stuff niel, lets face it you only need a few good pairs of proven birds and your laughing, good luck with the new birds.... p.s. your right regarding the pigeons and management, do you remember malcolm saying "you can buy the bird, but you cant buy the man" this is true in my view......also a good pigeonman said something to me a few weeks ago and it made me realise he was right, "MOST PIGEONS ARE NO GOOD" and he was right too........ |

| At first i didnt understand the phrase"you can buy the pigeons but not the man" But now i totally understand, Talking about malcolm , i tried his training at dusk methods , believe me that is great stuff. Health management and observation is vital in the sport. Is malcolm still with us? |
