4th Club Pontefract

4th club today but first yearling timed so we fly the flag for the club in the classic result ...be nice to get into the top ten ,never know eh ...result for classic will be end of the week ...plenty birds away at the club tonight 6/7 here so all in all am happy with that ....onto next week

Well done to the pair O/S not a day for the pretender types I suspect/suggest so tell your clock bird I'm rather proud of what he/she did pushing into that wind etc & finishing 4th club on the day .  

10 members sent 90 birds in our club about 500 in the classic but wont get that result until thursday/friday ,will let members know

You know me etc O/S being a curious type So, do all your members place all their birds in the baskets, loft by loft or can you have 10 members having birds all in the same basket come race day like many there are apparently reluctant to do as such,     it appears.

club rule that all members birds are mixed together we dont have none of this "one member one basket nonsense" and guys dictating where there birds go ...no favourtism as such

as it should be O/S in my view etc. That being said thou one flyer well known here each year has 2 units dropped at his front door of sorts (640 odd birds) to make life easy for him in our club races. Matters little thou for most here fortunately     as little interest is shown in our first 4 club races, except for a few with big ego's in the selling department as such.

i think theres far too much dictating going on in clubs, by members to favor them selves or their pals , or to gain an advantage in some way ......

Yes, met them all at one time or another, taking my ball home if ?????. and all that, that implies.

thanks lads we were also 20th yearling classic to we had 3 entries ....not many yearlings were clocked tbh so seems like whoever got there yearlings did well ,tired boys though these 2 are nest mates good ybs they were to ,first one clocked was a yb winner also had other positions so did bro could be our last race for old birds this coming week ....weather looks awful but they will go because we basket for next race on a thursday if it looks silly weather we wont be sending
