Moral may be true for some etc Misty But I could name some down here who would be happy pissing it all up against a gum tree on the side of a river bank for the enjoyment factor, sadly.

Wake up worried, trying to think who I might upset last night lol.

Never ever indulged, have no idea what I am doing when sober, dread to think what I would do when drunk.

enjoy a few beers especially fridays after work in the local,, I work hard and put long hours in all week but I know my limit when it comes to drinking and can easily go weeks without having a pint, no problem.
Nothing nicer than sitting in the garden on a summer evening, just cut the lawn, birds out and having a couple of cans maybe, but spirits definitely a no no for me, never touched them.
See lads at somewhere like Blackpool in the bars all afternoon knocking it back, up to them if that's what they go for but I enjoy a look around the place and be able to remember it

I did a gig for an R.A.F. Base. They had a lot from me entertainment-wise.
Later in the night, my chores finished I had a ride or two on the dodgems etc. Enjoyed other sideshows. My mate- Good D.J., to say the least. Did my disco. I didn't fancy doing so after such a long day and night so of course, took helpers etc. (Mind never did like doing Disco's.
I had it set up on a balcony with the Speakers on stands on the floor below.

Well, I decided to have some fun -
Stopping the D.J. for a moment I climb up and sang and danced on the Balcony railings 'MacNamara Band'.

It went down well.

Anyway, I passed to ladies coming up the stairs as I went down. I smiled and said to one 'I'm going to call you 'Eggy'!
'Why; asks she?
Because your a little cracker' says I. A tittle or so from both lol.

the other one says 'And what are you going to call me then'?
'You' says I. I'm going to call you 'Spanner'.
'Spanner'! Asks she, 'Why'?

So I told her 'Every time I look at you, my nuts tighten;.

Her mate laughed. But she went off in a huff red-faced. Later I see her complaining to her husband. The C.O. or whatever he was in charge. He laughed and told to 'Go away and get over it! We all had a good time later with him and a few others.
Go more work too lol.

Mind I can't recall 'Spanner' ever talking to me again though lol

You have been a real naughty boy in your time Daz (have we not all ?).

Nothing wrong with a bit of banter among friends and those with a sense of humour.

It is the ones who turn up half drunk at marking and even drunker at clock checking that are a pain, foul mouthed and brainless, never do anything but complain.

Want their time checking sure there has been a mistake etc;

Known it all the time in the sport and it was worse when you had to work out everything long hand, you would go through it step by step after which the idiot woulds say, "Oh I just thought".

Takes all sorts and I have found the vast majority salt of the earth, pity how one bad apple??????.

Sounds all Ok to me etc Barnie on average. Wise man knows his limitations as such . When I found myself here at times having a happy hour type moment no one was safe, from getting a man hug type scenario I'm .
