Oldstrain/Darren`s Winner of winners. 2012.
From Fed Topper to Master Chef
The N.E.H.U race from Melton Mowbray 21/4/2012 was won by Peel bros of South Shields, they took 1st club 1st fed, also taking 2nd and 4th club and 15 of the 25 birds clocked in the club......well done Peel brothers.
Some very nice looking lofts, a bit expensive me thinks for a yougster just setting up and not conjusive to the life a pigeon likes and is entitled to.
More like being interested in showig off to friends etc; with little thought what makes the pigeon happy, me thinks they would be happier in a back garden shed.
This type of thing I feel puts many people off, thinking they cannot compete with fanciers with expensive lofts, the truth of course is the best fanciers are on allotments and back gardens and in many cases with the best pigeons but do not compete in Nationals etc;
great if you live somewhere with predominately warm, dry, settled weather without strong winds.
no good for around here, be spread over several gardens once the gales hit it on the front. Also rain would run off the roof and dropping boards and blow straight in the loft.
Not saying it wont work in the best environment for it. Is this how your loft is constructed?

Like Barnie says, it would be a nice airy loft in a predominantly dry climate but no good for the UK, to wet and definitely no good for Hal’s neck of the woods I shouldn’t think.
