Mice ..........

found out last week i have a mouse or mice in my garage, never seen one but i know they are there.........few droppings etc.

put a trap down, caught nothing, put a sticky pad down with bait in the middle, caught nothing, i know they cannot get out because i have bricked across the bottom of the main door temporarily until next year when i can fit a rubber strip, so i know they cant get out or new ones get in.

any ideas to catch them,

Sprinkle cement on oats. Make sure birds can't peck it up.

I heard of a safe, and inexpensive way, to control mice and apparently it works very well. Ray Naklicki read, and tried, this experiment.
Mix 1 equal part flour with 1 equal part sugar with 1 equal part baking soda. Place in container around loft. Mice will devour the mixture. Once the mice drink water the baking soda foams up they bloat up and they die. Ray says he hasn't seen any mice in weeks.
Seen mice eating one in a trap.

I have done this very often.
I also sprinkle some on the floor around the container. Will show any mice tracks of course. It works.
I had a few visit a couple of months ago. No way to get into the work shed. Well they did.
Caught 3 in traps. Spread cheese spread, or peanut butter, but then ANY feed will service.

Feed containers - small bowl for Grit or such. Feed taken. No more tracks or any signs now.
