anyone seen a swallow yet?

kept a record past 7 years, usually here 16th April give or take a few days each way.
Not seen a swallow yet this spring, few house martins been here a week but that's it.
Any swallows further south?

not seen anything yet colin,been outside the whole week to

beautiful clear day today with south in the wind but still no-show, really late this year. Like all small birds less each year.

Rare to see a swallow, down my way here etc Barnie   Parrots thou like sand in an hour glass as such .

any look like these Knackered? We used to get them call here but not for past year or more, used to be 3 of them.

That's the type of thing etc Barnie beats looking at the old sparrow, starling & magpie scenario any day of the week etc    .

someone local must have been flying them out they disappeared late afternoon back to wherever they were settled but regularly visited ours and neighbours gardens. I know for sure they weren't british birds.

i`d love to see some of those around my garden colin, a rare sight indeed ........
