super-fast day similar velocities elsewhere, well done Chuda 2 together, was it dry at your end David?

yes it was colin, been quite a decent day today ........not sunny and hot, but pretty average, dry sort of day , just a bit of drizzle about an hour ago , stopped now .

In my area they are doing 2173 YPM from Frome 90 miles

Cannot grumble at those velocities, just hope weather holds good for barnies race.

Still gaps between velocities.

i think returns are a well kept secret misty,  it seems most get 100% returns ,

yet dont send, or send 2 birds the week after .......

Well done to the winners the velocities around here are mid 2100s very fast race

Very fast race for some but been through some heavy rain some of them, luckily they had wind up their backsides but those that got past had a hard job working back into the fresh wind with thunder, torrential rain and hailstones. Luck on our side 16/16 returns but first birds bad trap again so I got some work to do to sort that out. Lose a minute and you're nowhere on a 1800ypm day. In the first batch but you got to get them on the clock to count! Still pleased as punch with them, only the second race of their lives and they really are trying.

Well done on returns barnie, cannot do better than100%.

Now you know you have something to work with.

As distance gets longer trapping (although still a major problem) gets less of a problem.

well done on full returns colin, they`re doing well in only there 2nd race .........i reckon they will trap better the more experience they get

There were birds missing for all lofts, we did the clocks at 4pm and returns by then,
