| somethingjust clicked in my mind earlier when i was feeding my birds, ive read somethingon the internet a few days ago where the fancier said he was breeding certain birds together, to produce small , dark offspring off them, this was to fool the bops/hawks etc into thinking they were jackdaws and wont attack them ......maybe this explains why the winner was a black pigeon, and was 25 mins in front of the next bird, they could have been hit by bops on route home ...? |

| Can never see the sense in showing spreaded wings, it is what the wings are arrached to that matters.
Won races with birds in all stages of the moult.
Would never handle a pigeon more than necessary after a long hard flight.

| Yes Knackered, some of the best pigeons ever would not meet the criteria the so called EXPERTS advocate.
For everything one fancier says there will be hundreds who could contradict with well founded facts, all being truthfull.
Could tell numerous one off situations that confound what is thought as normal but had a certain amount of success.
WHAT CANNOT BE DENIED NATURE NOWS BETTER THAN MAN.
