hi ginger, these droppings are from this bird i think......the nearer firmer droppings are from the day before which havnt been scraped out when i took the picture but the watery droppings towards the back of the box are this morning when i first went in the loft, ive took the bird out and got it in a basket now. could it be yb sickness.....?

You could even use salt blocks in the loft to help to make the droppings firm up

| only my opinion, but the use of salt blocks wont cure an ailment. the salt will dry droppings yes but that is just masking the problem, also is the use of saltblock dehydrating the birds?

Mick you have something there but will say, with salt blocks as long as the birds don't take to much salt in take then this will prevent too much intake of water which can cause watery droppings also

a sure way of identifying sour crop is to open its beak and have a sniff of its breath.if its foul then you need to flush the bird out.if no smell then i would sugest worms or coccidiosis.
